Hello Friends-
Well, it's that time---
One of my greatest wishes is to be home with my family right now.
Holidays are meant for reflection, family & memories of happy times. It's strange, but as I get older, the sights and smells of holidays past become more profound. The snow, the lights and presents make me want to create that feeling each time. We want our kids to know that feeling too, so we hustle and try to get it together, but somehow it gets lost in the 'transactions'. And that's when you remember why it doesn't feel the same despite your efforts, it's because NOW YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT ALL!
Stay Safe and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Whew! 2009 almost over!
Hello, Fans,
As we approach the end of the year, let's stop and reflect on the true meaning of the season. Don't forget the ones we lost and the ones far from home.
Let's Give Thanks for our freedom and our loves.

Hi everyone-
Been to the dr. to check out this lymphedema stuff. It was a painful experience!.
Sucks being a cancer survivor, especially when you have residual side effects you can't control--
but I'm thankful to be here...... Special prayers and respect for those affected by cancer.
Let's not make this the only month we acknowledge the fight against this disease.
Anyway, I meet some interesting people along the road. Hello to Crazy Beautiful of PA. Keep going, girl
She is proof that God does send angels to help you. If it wasn't for this young lady, I probably would have been 'run over' by now! Keep going! and good luck with your future plans!
The woman at the counter where I bought orange juice, thank you for smiling. And JayLynn, what can I say?
I really needed that hug! Special mention to M.Khandi, thanks for the open door!
Email me, people! Let me hear what you have to say about cancer!

End Of Month!
Well, friends, it's time!
Kind of nervous, but hopeful. Have a follow up appt coming soon and as a cancer survivor feelings always come around when its time to get scrapped, and dig into again. Oh, man, do I hate those mammo machines!! They can send a man to the moon, but why don't we have a gentler way to give a mammogram! That thing is uncomfortable! But like giving blood, it is essential. Been very busy working on links and such. Trying to get info on new clinical trials too. Any new trials out there ?

Weekend Blahs
As a writer, sometimes you have 'blocks' and weekend blahs. This occurs when you are too relaxed and unmotivated to do anything related to writing. So how is that my mind won't shut off, but my body does?
Can anyone relate to this?

Update
Well, Friends, seems I have lots more work to do, thought I could have a day off, but now I am finding that running my biz is not the same as doing my biz! It's an interesting multi level transition from the norm for me, and being 'tech challanged' is a journey in itself.
But, as my dreams come to pass, I am reminded of why I do this every day.
Are there other writers out there running into this issue too?

Behind The Pink Ribbon

For the 'nosy' in all of us.......
Behind the Pink Ribbon is the new book on the block if you REALLY want to know what REALLY happens to a clinial trials participant.
The book DOES NOT trash the medical world or clinical trials. In fact, the author states that the book's purpose is to enlighten and educate the reader about the mind set of BEING a clinical trials participant.
It has gritty stuff in it, funny too! And makes a good read!
(great gift, and the author will personally sign it if you request)
Check it out!
oh, and see some other stuff on the www.cafepress.com/behind_ribbon.comonlinestore
With every book or item purchased from Behind The Pink Ribbon Line
a donation is made to the Hope Fund at the James Cancer Hospital.
